Last year, when Jerry and I were in Colorado Springs for a conference, we happened upon this fun coffee shop, Third Space Coffee, that does coffee flights. Naturally, we’re back in Colorado Springs for that same conference, so we had to stop in for coffee flights. It did not disappoint!

While in Colorado Springs, we dropped into this brewery we enjoyed last time we were here, Storybook Brewing. The beer is good and the decor is fantasy novel-themed. The bathroom sign is delightfully inclusive, but I think the only non-humans they allow are sleep-deprived dragons. I wonder how the dwarves would feel about that?

We spent the last few days skiing in Copper Mountain, a few hours outside of Denver. We were expecting spring skiing – but instead, it was snowing and in the single digits. It made for some great skiing though!

This is the view we woke up to this morning. Does it get any better than this? I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of snow on the ground (granted, I’m a native Texan, so snow is still a novelty to me).

Well, we’re back to traveling – we’ve left Salt Lake City (for now) and have found ourselves at Copper Mountain for a few days. This picture summarizes us well – two pairs of skis and three jackets hanging up (we have to hang up Tuck’s jacket too!).

Well here’s our author, hard at work Stayed tuned for some guest posts from Tuck!
